Senate Democrats Block Aid to Israel, Republicans Step Up Despite Resistance
Well, folks, it’s been quite the show on Capitol Hill. The Senate Democrats have once again shown their true colors, blocking much-needed aid to our friend and ally, Israel. The drama didn’t stop there, with President Joe Biden threatening to veto a bipartisan bill aimed at helping Israel because it didn’t include aid for Ukraine. What’s up with that, Joe?

And guess what? Senator Roger Marshall (a proud Republican from Kansas) brought this bill to the table, and it passed the House with support from both parties. But that didn’t stop Biden from waving his veto threat around like a schoolyard bully. What a guy, right?
But don’t worry, our heroes from the Republican side, including Senators Ted Cruz and Roger Marshall, refused to back down in the face of such ugliness. On the latest episode of “The Verdict,” Senator Cruz shared the behind-the-scenes scoop, and boy, was it juicy.
First off, Senator Cruz highlighted a massive “Stand With Israel” event attended by over 200,000 supporters, with leaders from both parties speaking out in support of Israel. Yet, when it came time to put their money where their mouth is, the Senate Democrats were nowhere to be found. Not a single one of them stood up for Israel when it mattered most. Shocking, but unfortunately not surprising.
Cruz didn’t stop there. He exposed the Biden administration’s sneaky tactic of trying to link aid for Israel to unrelated political agendas, like their obsession with increasing illegal immigration. I mean, really? Can they just focus on one thing at a time?
The hypocrisy doesn’t end there, folks. The House managed to scrape together $14 billion by cutting funds for 87,000 new IRS agents (because that’s a good idea), and the Democrats were all on board with that. But when it came to helping out Israel, suddenly they had a change of heart. It’s like a bad soap opera, but with even worse acting.
Senator Cruz and his fellow Republicans were like, “Enough is enough,” and decided to force a vote on military aid to Israel. They weren’t going to let the Democrats play their political games at the expense of our ally’s safety and security. Way to go, guys!
