Government efforts to combat climate change often lead to unintended negative consequences for the environment and human health, according to a conservative viewpoint. The focus on electric vehicles, wind turbines, and solar panels can have detrimental effects including fires, environmental impact of mineral mining, and waste issues.
A recent lawsuit filed by The Heartland Institute and allies against Dominion Energy aims to halt the construction of offshore wind turbines off the coast of Virginia due to concerns about the environmental impact, specifically on endangered marine mammals like the North Atlantic Right Whale. The rush to implement these turbines without proper consideration for wildlife habitat raises concerns about the potential harm caused.
So, the left really never cared about the animals.
These turbines are being erected right in the middle of NARW and other protected marine mammals’ habitat and migration routes.
