Great American Family’s Easter Blitz: Pure Flix Powerhouse Outshines Rivals!

Ladies and gentlemen, hold onto your hats because Great American Family is gearing up for an Easter extravaganza that will blow you away! They're pulling out all the stops for the holiday, offering a plethora of films and specials that will leave you speechless. From a televised play to a Museum of the Bible special, they're making sure this Easter is one for the books.

Bill Abbott, the mastermind behind Great American Family, spilled the beans on their plans for Easter, expressing their unwavering dedication to making it an extraordinary celebration. Their cable channel and streaming platform, Great American Pure Flix, are set to roll out a wide array of options for Christian holiday enthusiasts, giving Hallmark and Lifetime a run for their money.

"We're not just offering reruns here," Abbott shared with the Washington Examiner. "We've got original content lined up, including The Passion play airing on Good Friday and The History of Easter, a special collaboration with the Museum of the Bible. Plus, we're thrilled to premiere 'Just in Time,' a heartwarming movie produced by the talented Candace Cameron Bure and starring Lauren Osnes. It's a touching tale of redemption that delves into the highs and lows of marriage and parenthood."

Abbott couldn't contain his excitement about Great American Family's Easter lineup, likening it to the LeBron James of Easter programming. He attributes their success to their commitment to creating content that uplifts faith and family values, especially during Holy Week.

But the excitement doesn't stop there! Great American Family has teamed up with the Museum of the Bible to present 'The History of Easter,' narrated by Christian artist Matthew West. Set to premiere on Good Friday, this special promises to be a captivating journey through the origins of Easter.

Following last year's successful collaboration on a Christmas special, Abbott is hopeful for more joint ventures with the museum in the future. It's a match made in heaven indeed!

The one and only Candace Cameron Bure is not only gracing our screens in 'Just in Time' but also starring in a new mystery film series, 'Ainsley McGregor Mysteries.' Move over, Hallmark – there's a new sheriff in town!
