Greene Claims FBI, DOJ Plot Against Trump, Criticizes GOP Leadership for Funding

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) accused the FBI and the Justice Department of plotting to harm former President Donald Trump after information about their search at Mar-a-Lago was made public.

In a post on social media, the congresswoman suggested that the Biden administration had given the go-ahead for the alleged scheme. She expressed her concern and urged the public to understand the seriousness of the situation.

The FBI responded by stating that the use of deadly force was part of its standard procedure and that no additional measures were taken beyond the normal protocol during the search.

Greene also criticized House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) for supporting the funding of the DOJ and FBI, claiming that it hindered efforts to hold them accountable. She condemned Johnson’s decision and expressed her disappointment in his actions.

This is not the first time Greene has raised concerns about a potential attack on Trump. During a recent interview, she suggested that there were plans to harm the former president and spoke about her fears regarding his safety and well-being.

The FBI conducted a surprise search at Trump’s Florida residence on Aug. 8, 2022, and obtained classified materials that Trump had brought back to his resort after leaving office.
