Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia gave a stirring tribute at the Republican National Convention to Corey Comperatore, the courageous man whose life was tragically taken during the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump. Greene highlighted that Comperatore’s sacrifice serves as a stark reminder to Americans of the urgent need to reclaim a government that has long been hijacked by bureaucrats who prioritize their interests over those of the people. The RNC’s opening night, which took place just days after the near-fatal attack on Trump at a rally in Pennsylvania, saw Greene as one of the headlining speakers. She expressed gratitude for divine intervention in sparing Trump’s life and offered heartfelt prayers for the family of Corey Comperatore, as well as for other rally-goers who were injured during the incident.
Sen. Ron Johnson of Wisconsin joined the chorus, condemning the Biden administration for its policies that have driven inflation sky-high, compromised border security with an endless stream of illegal immigrants, and turned America into a global punchline. Johnson asserted, with unwavering confidence, that the Democratic Party of today is nothing like the party our forebears knew. Instead of prioritizing the real struggles of everyday Americans, Democrats seem more intent on shoving ideologically-driven distractions, such as allowing biological men to compete in women’s sports, down throats.
Johnson left attendees fired up with his promise that the forgotten Americans President Trump spoke about in 2016 are, indeed, forgotten no longer. The damage inflicted by the Democrats will be repaired once again, and the mission to Make America Great Again is far from over. Buckle up, because the GOP is ready to take the wheel.
