In a showdown against the tyrannical state of New York, a courageous group of gun owners has taken a stand for their Second Amendment rights. These brave souls have filed a federal lawsuit challenging the cruel and oppressive laws that prevent non-residents from obtaining a license to carry firearms in the state.
Under the current law in the Empire State, only New York residents have the privilege of exercising their Second Amendment rights. It’s as if the state believes that only those who reside within its borders are worthy of protecting themselves and their loved ones. Talk about discrimination!

The gun owners, backed by the Gun Owners of America and Gun Owners Foundation, have had enough of New York’s elitist nonsense. They argue that the state’s prohibition on non-residents applying for gun permits is a direct violation of both the Second and Fourteenth Amendments. And they have a point! The Supreme Court has been crystal clear that the right to bear arms is a fundamental right that applies to all Americans, regardless of where they live.
You see, folks, this isn’t just about the people of New York. This is about the entire nation. If New York can trample on the rights of non-residents, where does it end? What other rights will they try to take away? It’s a slippery slope, my friends. And that’s exactly why we need to applaud these gun owners for taking a stand against this injustice.
But wait, it gets even worse! Not only does New York deny non-residents their right to bear arms, but the state also refuses to honor permits from any other state. Talk about a double whammy! It’s a clear violation of the constitutional requirement that New York grant Full Faith and Credit to concealed carry permits issued by other states.
It’s not just New York that’s playing this unconstitutional game. The California Rifle & Pistol Association and multiple gun rights organizations have also filed a similar lawsuit against the oppressive Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. It seems like gun owners are standing up against these liberal states one by one.
In the end, folks, it’s a fight for our rights. It’s a fight for the unalienable liberties that our Founding Fathers fought so hard to secure. We cannot let the likes of New York and California trample on our freedoms. So, let’s stand with these courageous gun owners and make it clear that the Second Amendment applies to ALL Americans, no matter where they live.
