The White House hosted a ceremony to highlight its attempts to drastically tighten gun control regulations. President Joe Biden signed bipartisan legislation that just about made it through Congress, and then he celebrated by tightening Second Amendment restrictions.
Biden praised the president for approving a gun control legislation that tightens background checks for those under the age of 21 in his remarks on the White House lawn on Monday. In response to recent mass shootings in Uvalde, Texas, and Buffalo, New York, which were witnessed by US people, the remark was issued.
The action we take today on gun violence is a step designed to make our nation the kind of nation it should be.

He added that despite having previously insisted that the Second Amendment was not without limitations, he still backs it. In order to support his claim that gun violence kills more children in the US than any other reason, Biden also provided supporting data from the CDC. One of the criticisms of the assessment is that it lacks differences based on age groupings.
Then, Biden called for a ban on assault weapons and urged Congress to implement laws holding gun owners accountable for failing to safeguard their firearms at home.
