The liberal darling media is buzzing with reports from the Times of Israel about the horrific treatment of Jewish hostages at the hands of Hamas. According to the report, a Thai hostage who was freed by Hamas revealed to Israel’s Channel 12 that he and the Jewish hostages were subjected to inhumane conditions and brutal beatings using electric cables.
Freed Thai Hostage: Hamas Beat Jewish Hostages with Electric Cables. GAZA MUST BE WIPED OUT https://t.co/3XnLTMzdNn

The freed Thai hostage recounted the hostages’ ordeal, sharing that they were given measly rations of food, such as a pita a day or sometimes a tin of tuna to be shared among four people. The horrors didn’t stop there. The hostages were denied adequate food, kept in squalid conditions, and allowed to shower only once during their more than seven-week captivity. If that’s not enough, the freed hostage disclosed that the Jewish hostages were treated even more harshly than the others. It’s truly despicable what these terrorists are capable of.
And the abuse doesn’t end with just inadequate food and living conditions. According to the report, Hamas tortured children by forcing them to watch heinous films of atrocities against Israeli civilians at gunpoint. Some children were kept in solitary confinement for weeks, and many hostages were deprived of necessities like food, water, and sunlight. The suffering of innocent lives at the hands of Hamas is heart-wrenching and despicable.
It’s no surprise that the Red Cross has failed to step in to help these suffering hostages and provide the much-needed medicines and supplies. It’s been nearly eight weeks of captivity, and still, there has been no sign of assistance for these victims of Hamas’s brutality. The fact that some media outlets fail to cover this injustice is appalling.
This isn’t just an isolated incident. Hamas kidnapped around 240 hostages, resulting in the loss of approximately 1,200 lives and injuring thousands more. By comparison, Hamas has only released about 70 hostages, mainly women and children, in exchange for triple that number of Palestinian terror convicts, also mainly female or juvenile. The distorted priorities here are outrageous.
Hamas’s actions are nothing short of despicable, and the world must not turn a blind eye to the suffering inflicted upon innocent lives. These hostages endured unimaginable horrors, and it’s time for the international community to hold Hamas accountable for their atrocities. The biased media may try to downplay these events, but the truth must prevail.
