Hamas Sympathizers & Iran’s Cash: How Our Colleges Are Being Hijacked

As college campuses gear up for another semester, the threat of Hamas sympathizers stirring up trouble is looming larger than ever. While students are busy balancing their class schedules and trying to figure out the roommate situation, a more sinister agenda seems to be lurking in the shadows. The focus should not only be on these misguided individuals who seem to have forgotten about the very fabric of American values but also on the puppet master behind the curtain: Iran.

In a twisted game of ideological chess, Iran has been financially backing protests and unrest on campuses across the United States. Instead of fostering an environment of education and free thought, these nefarious funds are being funneled into activities that promote chaos and division. One can only imagine what would happen if more students educated themselves on the realities of the Iranian regime and its associated agendas—it might just change the dynamic on these campuses.

The irony isn’t lost on anyone when students learn that two plus two equals four but remain blissfully ignorant about the global ramifications of Iran’s actions. Instead of engaging in meaningful dialogue about democracy and freedom, pockets of campus culture are being filled with chatter and slogans that can easily be mistaken for Iranian propaganda. This disconnect raises the question: What are these students really being taught?

Here’s a thought: instead of allowing foreign bad actors to manipulate American institutions, perhaps universities should focus on instilling a sense of patriotism among students. Wouldn’t it be a breath of fresh air to see young people actively defending freedom and democracy rather than attacking them? If college courses emphasized the importance of understanding geopolitical threats rather than spouting anti-American sentiment, maybe students could spend less time protesting and more time preparing for the real world.

While college campuses have historically been places of liberal indoctrination, awareness is increasing regarding who is funding the chaos. It would do everyone a favor to shed light on Iran’s role in exploiting the youthful energy on these campuses before the next wave of misguided protests show up, ready to disrupt education and real discourse. American students deserve better than to be unwitting pawns in an international power struggle. It’s time for those in charge to take a stand against the funding of campus mischief and protect the values that this country was built upon.
