In Washington, D.C., a brave police officer was shot by a criminal near 7th Street and Oglethorpe Street NW. The officer, who was on his way to work, noticed a car driving recklessly. The criminals in the car suddenly stopped, got out, and fired at the officer. Thanks to the quick thinking of the officer, he drove to the 4th District Station for help. His fellow officers rushed him to the hospital where he is being treated for his injuries.
