In her latest act of desperation, Ms. Clinton decided to once again take aim at freshly minted Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy, only to receive another lesson in reality. The exchange has turned out to be as entertaining as watching a toddler attempt to wrestle an alligator—everyone knows how it’s going to end.
After initially ridiculing Duffy for inviting the DOGE team to inspect the Department of Transportation’s operations, Clinton has re-emerged, as if she believes persistent poking will somehow yield a different result. Her caustic quips about Duffy’s age and experience backfired spectacularly when he educated her about the state of the FAA and the disastrous legacy left by her cronies in the previous administration. Duffy’s approach is as much about delivering cold hard facts as it is about reminding Clinton and her minions that their time in power has been loudly denounced by American taxpayers.

Duffy is proving to be more than capable of handling the incoming tirades from Clinton and her ilk. Instead of engaging in the same petty mudslinging typical of the political left, he focuses on his mission: restoring safety and efficiency in America’s transportation systems that the Democrats let deteriorate under their watch. His response to Clinton neatly encapsulated the massive failures of the Obama administration, which prioritized politically correct environmental initiatives over updating critical infrastructure. With Duffy at the helm, American transportation is poised to get the makeover it desperately needs, regardless of what she has to say about it.
But why is Clinton poking the bear? The theory that springs to mind is that the Clinton name has been synonymous with questionable dealings for decades. With the DOGE team sniffing around USAID and its funding practices, the stakes are high. Many are left to wonder if Hillary is trying to deflect attention from her past by scrambling to undermine Duffy’s credibility. It’s clear that as far as she’s concerned, dragging Duffy into the mud is preferable to facing scrutiny over her own dubious history involving the likes of the Haiti Development Fund—a venture that seems to have floundered under her “leadership.”
Despite the absurdity of her continued attempts to undermine a fresh administration, Clinton’s persistence doesn’t buttress her argument; instead, it highlights her desperation. In this latest round, Duffy’s calm responses and staunch defense of his policies shine against Clinton’s pie-in-the-sky posturing—akin to watching a chess game where one player is simply moving pieces without understanding the rules.
