Hillary Cornered: Pressed on Epstein Ties!

In this week’s episode of “The Clintons and Friends,” Hillary Clinton finally addressed a question on everyone’s lips: the infamous Jeffrey Epstein scandal. It’s about time someone asked her about it, though the question was miles away from addressing her husband’s history with the late Epstein. For those following the never-ending saga, it’s a bit like tuning into a soap opera—without the dramatic music but with way more irony.

Hillary was asked about Epstein during the Munich Security Conference, a place usually reserved for comments on global affairs, not family entanglements with convicted sex offenders. But the question didn’t quite hit the nail on the head, missing the glaringly obvious connection with her husband, Bill. After all, Bill and Epstein’s friendship is thoroughly documented. This little omission is the kind of whitewashing that makes paint companies jealous.

When questioned about Epstein’s horrifying abuses, Hillary responded with a blanket statement about the need for transparency and the release of more information. She’s all for releasing the Epstein files now. However, she hasn’t frequently mentioned this desire in public, despite having a microphone in front of her more often than a singer in a rock band. It’s a bit like suddenly saying you’re in favor of pineapple on pizza—it’s a surprise nobody saw coming.

The conversation veered to the bizarre when other names came up, like Steve Bannon’s alleged attempts to get Epstein’s help with his peculiar agendas. While Bannon’s connection raises eyebrows, it doesn’t quite measure up to prominent members in the Epstein social circle—one of whom Hillary is married to. To not mention Bill while discussing Epstein feels like talking about lemonade without mentioning lemons.

In the end, Hillary played the horror card at the Epstein files, expressing disbelief at the information coming out. But here’s what she didn’t do—she didn’t acknowledge Bill’s relationship with Epstein, nor did she mention anything directly involving her own name in those files. If the Clintons are truly for transparency and accountability, one might wonder why they seem to be hiding behind the curtain instead of stepping on stage. For now, it looks like Clinton theater continues, with the next act surely just a question away.
