Another day, another Hollywood elitist showing her true colors. Bravo reality star Jennifer Welch just proved what we’ve known all along about the tolerant left. She went on a nasty, curse-filled rant telling Trump supporters they shouldn’t be allowed to eat at Mexican, Chinese, or Indian restaurants.
This out-of-touch celebrity thinks she gets to decide where hardworking Americans can grab a bite to eat. Welch screamed that Trump voters should get their fat behinds to Cracker Barrel instead of enjoying ethnic food. She called it hypocritical for patriots to eat multicultural cuisine while supporting strong border security.
Talk about missing the point completely. Supporting legal immigration and border security doesn’t mean you hate other cultures or their food. Most Trump supporters love trying different cuisines and have friends from all backgrounds. They just believe in following the law and protecting our nation.
The real hypocrisy here is stunning. Welch preaches tolerance while demanding restaurants ban half the country from eating there. She claims to fight discrimination while openly discriminating against millions of Americans based on their political beliefs. This is the modern left in a nutshell.
This wealthy podcaster living in her bubble has no clue what regular folks actually think. She assumes the worst about patriotic Americans who simply want secure borders and fair immigration policies. Her privilege is showing when she thinks she can police where people eat based on how they vote.
The backlash was swift and deserved. Americans from all walks of life called out her unhinged comments for exactly what they were. Even some liberals recognized how divisive and wrong her rant was. This kind of hate only drives people further apart.
What’s next from these Hollywood types? Will they start checking voter registration at restaurant doors? Maybe they’ll demand separate water fountains for conservatives and liberals. This is the kind of dangerous thinking that leads to real discrimination and division.
