It’s as if the Hollywood liberal elite finally realized President Joe Biden is the emperor with no clothes. George Clooney’s recent op-ed in The New York Times delivers a brutal KO to Biden, calling for him to step down. The pièce de résistance? Jeffrey Katzenberg, Biden’s longtime ally and chairman of the ‘Joe is mentally sound’ committee, tried to spike Clooney’s article. Furthermore, Obama’s fingerprints are all over this; he’s never been Biden’s biggest fan.
Clooney’s loyalty clearly lies more with Obama than Katzenberg, revealing a chink in the Biden armor. This op-ed wasn’t just a casual critique—it was a public undressing. He lambasted Biden for his wobbly performance at the June 27 debate with Donald Trump, comparing it to a mafia film shootout. Clooney had first-hand experience at a fundraiser where Obama practically had to frog-march Biden off stage, a scene the liberal media spun like a Cirque du Soleil performance to avoid showing the president’s obvious frailties.
And boy, did the liberal media do some impressive gymnastics at that fundraiser. Nicole Wallace ran a whole segment on “insidious Republican cheap fakes,” deceptively brushing off Biden’s embarrassing exit. This was the same event where Clooney’s roast essentially began, yet the media wanted everyone to believe Obama was just being a friendly chaperone. The Associated Press and others went into overdrive to convince America that everything was hunky-dory.
What does the Biden campaign do in response? They claim Clooney bounced early from the event while suggesting Biden stayed for the long haul, implying he’s got more stamina than Clooney. When CNN’s Jake Tapper can’t hold back a chuckle at such an absurd spin, you know the jig is up. Even liberal talking heads couldn’t keep it together; the narrative fell apart like a cheap suit.

The Biden campaign’s new tactic seems to be launching attacks on Clooney’s fitness. A source who knows event planning? Really? The desperation is palpable. Trying to frame 80-something Biden as more vigorous than George Clooney is a stretch that even Democrats are rolling their eyes at. If Biden’s handlers think such spin doctoring will help, they might want to revisit the strategy that brought them to this sorry state—pretending the emperor isn’t just wearing clothes but a golden robe.
In conclusion, it looks like the left is finally waking up to what conservatives have been warning about all along: Joe Biden is not up to the job. When even Hollywood heavyweights like Clooney, who have been loyal soldiers in the liberal crusade, are calling Biden out, one has to wonder if the curtain is finally being pulled back for good.
