In a shocking turn of events, federal prosecutors have decided to drop one of the charges against Hunter Biden, the troubled son of President Joe Biden. This comes in the midst of a case accusing Hunter of lying about his drug use while purchasing a firearm. It seems like once again, the liberal elite are getting preferential treatment while the average American would face serious consequences for similar offenses.
It is truly outrageous that Hunter Biden, notorious for his troubled past and questionable activities, is being let off the hook. The charge of possessing a firearm as a drug user was dropped, even though Hunter himself admitted in his memoir that he was a heavy user of crack cocaine at the time of the incident. This is a clear case of the liberal justice system bending over backward to protect one of their own.
Instead, Hunter will now be facing a three-count indictment for wrongful gun possession and lying on official application forms. While these charges are certainly serious, they pale in comparison to the original charge that was dropped.
