The White House is once again evading questions and dodging accountability, this time with regards to President Biden’s son, Hunter. It seems that the Biden family has a habit of showcasing their lack of respect for congressional subpoenas. But of course, the liberal media will conveniently look the other way.

Hunter Biden, instead of doing what any law-abiding citizen would do and sitting down for a deposition with the House Oversight Committee, decided to hold a press conference. In classic Biden fashion, he played the victim card, accusing Republicans of conducting a politically motivated investigation. Give me a break! It’s clear as day that he’s just trying to avoid answering tough questions.
But worry not, Republican patriots are not letting Hunter off the hook that easily. House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) has rightfully moved to hold Hunter Biden in contempt of Congress. This is a necessary step to ensure that the rule of law is upheld and that no one, not even the son of the president, can defy the authority of Congress.
To add insult to injury, House Republicans have initiated an impeachment inquiry into President Biden as a result of Hunter’s little stunt. And you know what? They have every right to do so. If the Biden family wants to play fast and loose with the Constitution, then it’s only fair that the American people deserve answers.
During the press briefing, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was bombarded with questions about Hunter’s defiance of the subpoena. But true to form, she refused to answer and continued to deflect, claiming that Hunter is a private citizen and it’s none of their business. Sorry, but that just doesn’t fly. As the president’s son, Hunter’s actions reflect directly on the administration. The American people, whom this administration is supposed to serve, have a right to know the truth.
Let’s not forget that President Biden himself has previously stated that those who defy congressional subpoenas should be “held accountable” and criminally prosecuted. Funny how the rules only apply when they’re convenient for the Democrats. We’ve witnessed the double standards when Republican individuals like Steve Bannon and Peter Navarro were convicted for refusing to comply with subpoenas. Yet somehow, Hunter Biden gets to walk away unscathed.
It’s clear that there is a biased agenda at play here. The liberal media and the Biden administration are doing everything they can to protect their own, even if it means trampling over the principles of justice and the rule of law. But we, the conservative voices, will continue to shine a light on their hypocrisy and demand accountability from the Biden family. The American people deserve answers, and we will not stop until we get them.
