The saga of Hunter Biden’s legal troubles is far from over. The sweet deal he thought he had in the bag blew up in his face when IRS whistleblowers Gary Shapley and Joseph Zeigler cried foul over alleged meddling from none other than the Biden Justice Department. The Democrats scrambled to discredit these whistleblowers.
It turns out that one of the key players in the alleged cover-up – former Delaware assistant US attorney Lesley Wolf – has quietly left the Justice Department. But not so fast, Ms. Wolf! You can run, but you can’t hide. It seems that her departure conveniently coincided with her deposition before the House Judiciary Committee, which just happens to be hot on the trail of the Biden family’s foreign business dealings.
Wolf allegedly went out of her way to keep the heat off “the big guy” or “dad,” aka Joe Biden, during the whole investigation fiasco. She reportedly tipped off Hunter Biden’s legal team, put the kibosh on any Joe Biden-related inquiries, and even ordered the FBI to scrub any mention of Joe Biden from a search warrant affidavit.
Even though the Hunter Biden legal circus is shaping up to be a major plotline in the 2024 election drama, the folks responsible for this alleged interference are currently leading the Department of Justice. It’s like the cockroaches scattering when the lights come on, isn’t it? But don’t hold your breath for any real consequences. Just look back at the whole Russian collusion mess – remember how those who cooked up fake evidence to snag illegal FISA warrants against Trump officials got off scot-free?
Hunter Biden may be dodging depositions and Justice Department bigwigs might be jumping ship, but the real fireworks are yet to come.
