Let’s face it, folks, Joe Biden is not winning any popularity contests. According to a poll by FiveThirtyEight, he has the dubious honor of being the least popular president in modern U.S. history. And it’s not just his presidency that’s causing concern; 67 percent of Americans disapprove of his handling of the economy, making it one of the top issues for the upcoming 2024 election, according to CNN. Even Democrats are starting to worry about Joe’s ability to do his job, with a majority expressing concerns about his age, as reported by Redfield & Wilton Strategies.
But now we have the added chaos of Hunter Biden to contend with. It’s like watching a never-ending episode of a soap opera you never wanted to see in the first place. One Democrat strategist, who apparently has a pit in their stomach, compared the controversy surrounding Hunter to Hillary Clinton’s infamous email scandal in 2016. Yikes!
And it’s not just the Democrats who are feeling the pressure. Recent polls show that Americans are highly skeptical of both Hunter and Joe Biden. A plurality of Americans, according to ABC News/Ipsos, have little confidence in how the Justice Department handled the investigation into Hunter. And a majority of voters, as reported by Yahoo/YouGov, actually believe that Joe Biden committed a crime with his involvement in his son’s shady dealings.
Folks, this is a mess. Joe Biden is already on thin ice, and the last thing he needs is the never-ending drama brought on by his own flesh and blood. Let’s hope the American people can see through the chaos and make a wise choice in the next election. We can’t afford any more distractions or scandals.
