In a recent op-ed published in USA Today, Hunter Biden, son of President Joe Biden, complains about the “political weaponization of [his] addiction” and the supposed demonization of addiction in general. He claims that his struggles and mistakes have been used to hurt his father and that he is being unfairly targeted. However, this is nothing more than delusional nonsense. Hunter is not being picked on for his addiction; he is being investigated for potential crimes. It takes a lot of nerve for him to play the victim card and try to blame his problems on others.

What’s even more absurd is that Hunter complains about a member of Congress displaying “revenge porn” about him on national television while conveniently leaving out the fact that the member was raising concerns about possible Mann Act violations. Reports suggest that federal authorities were looking into such offenses against Hunter. It’s ironic that he would complain about a “disinformation campaign” when one was actually employed to protect him and his father during the election. Who can forget the letter signed by 51 former intel officials claiming that Hunter’s laptop was likely Russian disinformation? Or how the NY Post story about the laptop was suppressed on social media platforms? The congressional investigations he mentions are not about his addiction but about potential corruption and influence peddling by the Bidens.
It’s clear that Hunter has no shame, just like his father. He even pulls out the Beau Biden card, using his late brother’s death to garner sympathy. But the truth is, Hunter has only himself to blame for his public humiliation. And as more evidence comes out about payments made to Joe Biden, it becomes evident that USA Today is just running cover for the Bidens. It’s truly delusional for Hunter to think that he is some kind of brave victim when he is actually at the center of a web of corruption.
