Congresswoman Ilhan Omar showed her true colors again this week. After conservative activist Charlie Kirk was murdered, Omar couldn’t help herself from attacking a dead man. She went on TV and called Kirk and his supporters “full of ” while his family was still grieving.
This is the same Ilhan Omar who came to America as a refugee. Kirk spent years fighting for American values and free speech on college campuses across the country. While Kirk was getting shouted down by angry leftist mobs, Omar was getting rich off taxpayer dollars in Congress.
Omar blamed Kirk for “setting the fires” that led to his own murder. That’s like blaming the victim for their own death. No decent person kicks a man when he’s down, especially when he’s been killed for his beliefs.
Charlie Kirk built Turning Point USA from nothing into a massive movement. He faced death threats and violence from the radical left for years. Kirk never backed down from defending America and conservative principles, even when it put his life at risk.
Meanwhile, Omar spends her time defending socialism and attacking America. She’s never built anything or created jobs for regular people. While Kirk was inspiring young Americans to love their country, Omar was dividing us with her anti-American rhetoric.
The difference between these two people couldn’t be clearer. Kirk loved America and wanted to make it stronger. Omar seems to hate everything America stands for and wants to tear it down from the inside.
Conservative Americans are fed up with politicians like Omar who show no respect for our values. She wouldn’t last five minutes doing the hard work Kirk did on hostile college campuses. Kirk had real courage while Omar just has a big mouth.
It’s time for voters to remember what Omar really thinks about America and Americans. Her cruel comments about a murdered patriot show exactly who she is. We need leaders who build up America, not tear it down like Ilhan Omar.
