Illegal Immigrant Crime Costs Hit $166.5 Billion, Triple Trump Plan Cost

The price tag for criminal activity tied to nearly 663,000 illegal immigrants targeted by ICE is staggering, proving yet again that the cost of crime is no laughing matter. An analysis from the Crime Prevention Research Center has revealed that the financial toll of these criminal illegal aliens could hit a jaw-dropping $166.5 billion. To put that into perspective, that’s nearly three times the alleged cost of President Trump’s much-debated “mass deportation” plan, which some have pinned at about $58.3 billion.

John R. Lott Jr., president of the Crime Prevention Research Center, crunched the numbers and laid out the grim reality. The crux of the analysis points to the victims of crime perpetrated by non-detained noncitizen offenders, suggesting that the impact is both widespread and devastating. Lott notes that the estimated costs are calculated based on the most serious crimes—one for each of the individuals on ICE’s infamous list. Shockingly, murders alone account for almost $153.8 billion of this figure. When one considers the horror behind that number, it paints a troubling picture of crime throughout the nation.

Sexual offenses and assaults contribute another $11.2 billion, leaving folks scratching their heads about what else could possibly be lurking in the shadows. Lott astutely points out that nearly half of the crimes committed by these non-detained individuals don’t even have price tags attached to them. Kidnappings, embezzlement, extortion, smuggling, traffic violations, and weapons offenses are all part of the criminal portfolio that remains unaccounted for in this astounding financial assessment.

Not one to stop at mere figures, Lott’s analysis serves as a clarion call for sanity amidst ongoing immigration debates. Supporting a border wall and advocating for robust deportation policy are not just conservative talking points; they are essential strategies to rein in the soaring costs of crime linked to illegal immigration. While opponents may dismiss these figures as mere fear-mongering, the evidence speaks for itself: a nation overwhelmed by crime does not lead to safety or prosperity.

As no one can argue that crime doesn’t pay, it becomes abundantly clear that America must take decisive action. With the cost of not governing immigration effectively hitting astronomical figures, the argument for mass deportation is now backed—not just by moral considerations, but by hard financial realities. So while the mainstream media may focus on the theatrics of political power plays, the stark numbers remind everyone that when it comes to crime in America, both the wallet and safety are at risk.
