Illegal Immigrants Continue to Exploit Weak Biden Border Policies

The chilling stories of American women and girls facing unspeakable horrors at the hands of foreign nationals illegally residing in the U.S. continue to emerge, revealing a disturbing trend that highlights the profound failures of the current administration’s immigration policies. In recent cases, victims fought valiantly against their attackers, only to be overpowered in brutal and tragic circumstances—all while their cries for help serve as haunting reminders of their struggles.

Take the case of Kayla Hamilton, a 20-year-old autistic woman found unceremoniously discarded in her mobile home. Her tragic fate was sealed after a Salvadoran MS-13 gang member, masquerading as an unaccompanied alien child, crept into the U.S. under the farcical aegis of federal programs meant to protect vulnerable minors. Upon his arrival in 2022, he was given a pass by the Departments of Homeland Security and Health and Human Services, which cleared the way for his murderous spree. After his heinous crime, he was apprehended, found guilty, and handed a staggering 70-year sentence, but that hardly addresses the systemic failures that made his attack possible.

Then there’s Rachel Morin, a mother of five, who was tragically attacked on a familiar trail. Her alleged killer—another Salvadoran with a history of illegal entry—left her body in a drainage culvert, oblivious to the love and lives he shattered. In a twist worthy of a horror film, DNA left behind in this crime was later tied to a similar attack on a child in California. It took months to track down this individual, painting a picture of an immigration system that allows dangerous elements to slip through the cracks.

Laken Riley’s harrowing ordeal unfolded on the very campus meant to be her sanctuary. In an alarming display of modern communication gone wrong, her final struggle was recorded during a 911 call—an audio relic of desperation that revealed the inadequacies of a Biden administration that prefers to release criminals into communities rather than deport them. The Venezuelan man who assaulted her had entered the U.S. under a questionable parole program. Yet, instead of facing justice through immediate deportation, he is now serving a life sentence following his conviction, after terrorizing a young woman’s life.

The case of 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray is perhaps the most heart-wrenching. Her life was extinguished at the hands of two Venezuelan men, who, like so many, were allowed to roam freely instead of being sent back to their home country after entering illegally. The remnants of her fight were evident in bite marks on one assailant during their capture, painting a grim picture of her tragic end. The DA is seeking the death penalty for those responsible, but the question remains: how many more tragedies must occur before those in charge take responsibility for allowing such heinous acts to proliferate?

These heart-wrenching incidents are not just isolated cases; they are part of a troubling pattern that ties back to the border policies of the current administration. With over a million Venezuelans and Salvadorans entering illegally under Biden, and more than 662,000 illegal foreign nationals with criminal records hovering in the shadows, it’s clear that the immigration system is bogged down by policies that favor unchecked entry over the safety of American citizens. The numbers are staggering—over 14 million illegal crossings under this administration alone, and the American public is left to pick up the pieces. This ongoing saga raises a clarion call for a serious reevaluation of national security measures—a necessity that seems to be placed on the back burner while lives hang in the balance.
