Burgundy Waller, also known as “Chip Girl” on TikTok, has become an internet sensation after posting a video of herself using a chip implant in her hand to pay for groceries at a store. Waller had a radio-frequency identification chip implanted in her right hand in 2020, initially using it as a replacement for her keys but now finding other uses for it, including making contactless payments.
