As the driver attempted to make a break for it, the witnesses weren’t in the mood to let lawlessness triumph. Instead, they turned into a makeshift blocking squad, effectively sandwiching the would-be getaway vehicle. Suddenly, a scene that could have been ripped straight from a cop movie turned into a community triumph over delinquency. While most folks were enjoying their Saturday evening, these heroes on the scene were operating under the belief that crime must not pay.
