In a recent article, CNN falsely portrayed President Donald Trump’s 2020 presidential campaign as being involved in a “voting system breach.” The headline insinuated that Trump or his campaign had hacked into voting systems, but the reality is quite different. The so-called “breach” actually occurred after the election and appeared to be authorized.
The article, titled “Messages show Trump’s team behind voting system breach,” attempts to connect this “breach” with an impending indictment of Trump in Georgia’s Fulton County. However, it fails to mention that the incident took place in Coffee County, Georgia, and only after the 2020 election had concluded. This is a blatant attempt by CNN to smear Trump’s reputation and create a false narrative of his involvement in election fraud.

According to CNN, text messages and emails reveal a connection between members of Trump’s legal team and the voting system breach. However, the article conveniently neglects to mention that this breach occurred six days after a local elections official allegedly sent a “written invitation” to Trump’s attorneys to examine the voting systems in Coffee County. In other words, it appears that Trump’s team was responding to an official invitation and not engaging in any illegal activity.
CNN admits that it hasn’t actually seen the invitation but has inferred its existence from other messages. This lack of factual evidence seems to be a recurring theme in their reporting. It is clear that CNN is more interested in pushing their anti-Trump narrative than in accurately reporting the news.
The article concludes by mentioning that Fulton County District Attorney Fain Willis is expected to present the case against Trump to a grand jury. However, it fails to offer any evidence supporting the allegations against the former president. It is nothing more than baseless conjecture meant to further tarnish Trump’s reputation.
Overall, this CNN article is a prime example of biased and misleading reporting. The network’s attempt to connect Trump and his campaign to a “voting system breach” is nothing more than sensationalism and political propaganda. As conservatives, we must remain vigilant in our search for the truth and skeptical of media outlets that seek to mislead and manipulate.
