Joe Biden showed poor judgment by not visiting the sites of the 9/11 attacks on the anniversary. Instead, he went to Alaska and Vietnam and delivered poorly-received speeches. Then, on the same day, he announced a deal with Iran that the State Department considers to be a state sponsor of terrorism.
The deal that the US made with Iran involves providing the country with billions of dollars in exchange for the freedom of five Americans. It’s a ransom payment that’s designed to act as a negotiation. According to the Biden administration, the Iranian government will have no access to the money. This is absurd, as the Iranian government could use it for its own nefarious purposes.

The deal was supposed to be a great gift, but Iran quickly responded to its generosity by preventing UN inspectors from accessing its nuclear facilities. This is the same regime that President Barack Obama helped negotiate a nuclear deal with, which was eventually pulled by Donald Trump. The president noted that the agreement didn’t protect the country's national security interests.
The head of the UN's nuclear watchdog agency, Rafael Grossi, said that Iran's decision to prevent the inspectors from entering its nuclear facilities is a clear violation of a treaty signed by over 190 nations.
It's unbelievable how the administration can still make decisions that put the country's security at risk. Unfortunately, this is the pattern that the Biden administration is following. It's time for them to start prioritizing the welfare of the American people.
