Iran’s regime has stepped up its information warfare by releasing slick propaganda that brazenly mixes footage of drones, missiles and “unseen” command-room clips meant to terrify the West and rally their own people. The videos aren’t subtle: they’re designed to convince worried audiences that Tehran is both victim and conqueror, and to justify the regime’s most dangerous ambitions.
One particularly grotesque example used Lego-style animation to blame the United States and Israel for an attack on a girls’ school in Minab, then cut to scenes of retaliatory strikes — a childish mask over a deadly political operation. This is not harmless theater; it’s state-directed messaging from outlets tied to the IRGC meant to inflame emotions and recruit outrage as cover for more aggression.
The timing of the propaganda is no accident: the Minab school strike itself has sparked serious and damning inquiries, with U.S. military investigators and major outlets reporting preliminary findings that point toward American weapons being involved — a shocking development that the regime will exploit relentlessly. Americans should be clear-eyed: any mistake that costs civilian lives must be investigated, but Tehran will weaponize that tragedy to dodge accountability and to rally global sympathy.
Worse, the online arena is choked with AI-manufactured and recycled footage that dresses up lies as “evidence,” creating a fog of propaganda that the mainstream media too often amplifies instead of debunking. Iran and its proxies are mastering modern disinformation — flooding TikTok, YouTube and other platforms with doctored clips and narratives meant to paralyze our response and shame our leaders.
Conservative commentators on American Agenda and other outlets have rightly pushed back, demanding that our leaders call out Tehran’s cynical theater while standing firm in defense of American lives and interests. Newsmax guests and hosts have warned about drone harassment and nuclear bluster, arguing that toughness and clarity — not appeasement or self-flagellation — keep our country safe.
Patriots know that propaganda cannot deter strength. Washington must quickly finish its inquiries, hold any negligent actors accountable, and at the same time restore a posture of unmistakable deterrence so Tehran understands that cheap theatrics and bully tactics won’t win them a seat at the table or a freer hand in the region. The safety of American families and our allies depends on it.
