The world can’t seem to get enough of artificial intelligence. But here’s the thing, folks—AI isn’t just about fancy gadgets and clever algorithms. It’s hungry for power, and I’m not talking about political power—though that would be fitting. No, AI requires massive amounts of electricity. It’s the new kind of energy hog that makes you wonder if we’ve really thought this through.
Both parties in Washington, though, seem oblivious to this looming crisis. Republicans appear too caught up in internal spats, and Democrats, well, they are too busy pushing their green dream agendas. Meanwhile, AI sits there, silently demanding more power, more resources, more everything. It’s like an entitled teenager who thinks the world owes them a living.

Let’s talk about the so-called digital economy. It’s a monster that thrives on hardware, not hopes and dreams. Hardware, folks, that eats up energy like there’s no tomorrow. Liberals want to save the planet, yet their tech obsessions keep draining it dry. Makes you think, doesn’t it? Maybe endless scrolling through cat videos isn’t worth cutting down forests for energy.
And speaking of hypocrites, globalists cheer on AI like it’s a savior. But who foots the bill when the electricity grid heaves under the strain? Ordinary Americans, that’s who. As if middle America doesn’t already have enough on its plate, now we’re stuck paying for tech giants to play with their expensive toys.
Some might say we’re stepping into a future dominated by AI, but at what cost? Are we just going to stand by while it eats up all the power? Maybe it’s time to ask: is this AI mania worth sacrificing our country’s energy security? Or is a smoke-and-mirrors AI utopia just another liberal fantasy?
