The ongoing battle against Hamas has escalated to a new level on the diplomatic battlefield. Israel is fed up with playing the ceasefire game with these terrorists and have made it crystal clear that they are done with the shenanigans. The Jewish state has reached out multiple times, trying to strike a deal with these evildoers for a pause in the fighting in exchange for hostages. Over 100 Israeli civilians remain in the clutches of these villains in the Gaza Strip. The Israeli forces swooped in last October to annihilate the terror group, which launched a savage and barbaric attack that claimed the lives of at least 1,200 Israelis. The initial ceasefire only lasted a brief moment, and while some hostages were released, Hamas didn’t stop raining down rockets on Israel.
None of this should come as a surprise to anyone paying attention. How many videos do we need to dig up where numerous Hamas big shots openly reject the idea of a two-state solution? They have made it abundantly clear that their end game is to wipe Israel off the map. It’s challenging to have productive negotiations when one party is hell-bent on obliterating the other, and that bloodthirsty ambition overshadows all other matters on the table. Prime Minister Netanyahu hit the nail on the head—no more pauses or ceasefires until Hamas is crushed for good. Brace yourselves; there are many more months of conflict on the horizon—something that Joe Biden isn’t thrilled about.
Israel Is Right to End the Ceasefire Games With Hamas https://t.co/jc0cKzHDYD

The rejection of Hamas’s ceasefire terms by Prime Minister Netanyahu dealt a blow to the US-backed proposal to end the Gaza conflict. Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s efforts to ease tensions hit a roadblock, with Israel standing firm against Hamas’s demands. Netanyahu made it clear that Israel will continue its military campaign against Hamas in Gaza, and he’s not backing down.
The Israeli leader’s remarks underscore the gaping difference between Israel and Hamas in agreeing to a ceasefire framework brokered by the US, Qatar, Israel, and Egypt. The proposal involves a phased release of hostages in Gaza in exchange for Palestinian prisoners and a truce that could pave the way for ending the four-month-old war.
Then, there’s another angle to this tangled web: Joe Biden’s desperate desire to put an end to the Gaza War to salvage his re-election hopes. The younger crowd, especially on college campuses, has displayed a disturbingly pro-Hamas sentiment, which spells trouble for a president facing an uphill battle. With his dismal approval ratings, lackluster economy, and the exodus of key Democratic voter bases, Biden is in a tight spot. He’s not exactly the apple of the eye for young people, Muslim-Americans, Blacks, Hispanics, and union workers. If Arab American voters decide to sit this one out, Michigan and Wisconsin could slip through Biden’s fingers and into Trump’s lap. The United Auto Workers may have thrown its weight behind Biden, but its president admitted that the rank-and-file workers won’t be casting their votes in favor of Biden come November.
This isn’t just a Biden administration headache; it’s a historical thorn in the side that’s loomed over countless presidencies. The issue has been flung onto the Biden administration’s lap, and it’s evident they lack the competence to untangle this mess. The people of Israel are well aware of this, too. The whole world knows that the Biden White House lacks backbone. This is precisely why Jerusalem doesn’t have the luxury to wait any longer or waver regarding their justified battle for self-defense against Hamas.
