Israel’s Army Triumphs Over Arab Nations: Check the Numbers!

The Israel/Hamas conflict has been dominating the news lately, and it’s hard to ignore the tension in the Middle East. While some people may criticize Governor Ron DeSantis for his support of Israel, it’s important to understand the facts before passing judgment.

Contrary to popular belief, Israel is not some military superpower compared to its Arab neighbors. In fact, when you look at the numbers, Israel is actually meek in comparison (except for their nuclear capability, of course). With a GDP of $521 billion, Israel pales in comparison to the combined GDP of the 22 Arab countries in the Middle East, which is $3.7 trillion. So why should Israel be expected to shoulder the burden of providing humanitarian aid to the Palestinians in Gaza, when the wealthier Arab countries could easily step in?

Let’s take a look at the military strength of both sides. Israel may have 90 nuclear weapons, but the Arab nations have zero. However, when it comes to manpower, the Arab nations outnumber Israel significantly. Israel has a total military force of 646,000, while the Arab nations have a combined force of 3.9 million. They also have a significant advantage in tanks, armored vehicles, artillery, aircraft, and naval fleets.

Despite these overwhelming numbers, Israel has never attacked its neighbors. In fact, it has only defended itself against attacks from the Arab countries. So why is it that the United States is constantly criticized for supporting Israel, while the wealthy Arab countries turn a blind eye to the suffering of the Palestinians under Hamas rule?

It’s disappointing to see some conservatives resorting to knee-jerk antisemitism when it comes to supporting Israel. Yes, Israel is a remarkable nation, with a thriving democracy and a progressive society. Supporting Israel is not just about politics; it’s about standing with a nation that represents freedom and progress in a region plagued by religious intolerance.

As Americans, we have an obligation to support our ally Israel. Without Israel, the world would be a darker and less prosperous place. So let’s not forget the biblical saying, “the meek shall inherit the earth,” and stand with Israel in their fight for peace and security.
