Hamas militants’ attack on Israel has claimed the lives of over 1,000 Israelis, and it’s a heartbreaking tragedy. The innocent residents living in border communities near Gaza, including children, women, and the elderly, have been kidnapped and brutally killed in savage raids. Such inhumane actions deserve heavy condemnation, and the sympathy for Israel has been pouring in as the Jewish state endures its deadliest conflict in half a century.
At the same time, this unrest has shed light on Joe Biden’s weak foreign policy that appeases Iran, a major supporter of Hamas. It’s clear that Biden’s approach has allowed this violence to escalate and threatens Israel’s security. This is in stark contrast to the stability that the Middle East experienced during President Trump’s tenure. It’s no wonder why retrospective praise for Trump’s leadership is emerging.
Ivanka Trump, who served alongside her husband Jared Kushner in her father’s administration, took to Instagram to express her love and prayers for the people of Israel. It’s heartening to see her support for the Jewish state during these trying times.
Speaking of President Trump, he pointed out that the Hamas invasion would not have occurred if he were still in office. He reminded his audience in New Hampshire that just a few years ago, there was peace in the Middle East thanks to the groundbreaking Abraham Accords. Now, all-out war rages in Israel, highlighting the significant difference a president can make. Trump’s critics may have questioned his favorability towards Israel in the past, but events like these make them reconsider their views.
The Israel attacks have once again emphasized the threat of Islamist terrorism, a concern that President Trump prioritized during his historic 2016 campaign. He vowed to support Israel and implement a travel ban to protect the United States from potential terrorists. In contrast, Biden’s lax border policies have allowed countless individuals from terrorism hotbeds to enter the country. It’s a dangerous risk that must be addressed. We cannot allow the bloodshed and killing witnessed this week on foreign soil to occur within our own borders, especially when we have essentially welcomed tens of thousands of probable terrorists into our country. It’s time for stricter and smarter immigration policies.
