In a late-night announcement, it was revealed that the corrupt Special Counsel Jack Smith is preparing to bring more charges against former President Trump. Trump wasted no time in criticizing Smith, accusing him of weaponizing the Justice Department for political gain. Trump pointed out the hypocrisy of President Biden, who faced no consequences for his own mishandling of classified documents. Trump asked, “Where’s Biden with all the documents? He’s got way more than I do, and he’s not making it easy for anyone either. He’s hiding boxes and sending them to Chinatown. China is paying him millions, but nobody talks about that. It’s always about me.”
The former president denounced the two-tiered justice system, which he believes demonstrates the Democratic Party’s failure to lead the nation properly. Trump pledged to fire Smith if he is elected in 2024, citing Smith’s series of unsuccessful prosecutions against influential public figures. One such case was the prosecution of former Virginia governor Bob McDonnell, which was unanimously overturned by the Supreme Court. The Court found fault with the government’s interpretation of the federal bribery statute in this case.

Trump also criticized Smith for his prosecution of Arizona Congressman Rick Renzi, a Republican. The Supreme Court upheld Renzi’s corruption charges, but Trump later pardoned him. Renzi claimed he had been wrongfully convicted due to witness tampering, illegal wiretapping, and prosecutorial misconduct. The former president argued that Smith has ruined many lives and accused him of targeting Christians and Republicans. Trump concluded by saying that history will remember this moment as an embarrassment for the entire nation.
