Jim Thompson, a conservative journalist, brings us another sensational story today. He's talking about the feud between Nikki Haley and Jemele Hill on Twitter. This one is a doozy.
Thompson starts off by reminding us that Kamala Harris’s political career was a complete disaster. Let’s face it, she’s not the sharpest tool in the shed and probably climbed the ladder using… other means. But hey, she did manage to get a few “highlights” in during her failed campaign, like accusing her future boss, Joe Biden, of being in bed with racists. Classy move, Kamala.
Thompson goes on to explain how Harris tried to play the race card during a debate, but it fell flat on its face. Turns out, it’s hard to win over voters when you’re grasping at straws and throwing around baseless accusations. But don’t worry, Harris’s poll numbers stayed solidly at a statistical zero, and she eventually dropped out of the race.
So part of the reason racism is such a terrible sickness in this country is because politicians like this know they can rally a certain base with the fear of OH MY GOD A BLACK WOMAN MIGHT BE PRESIDENT IF YOU DON’T VOTE FOR ME.

Now, let’s fast forward to the present. Harris somehow managed to become Vice President, despite being utterly incompetent. Thompson just can’t understand it. All she had to do was breathe, and she couldn’t even do that properly. The woman is a walking disaster, especially when it comes to speaking. Thompson points out that her approval rating is the lowest in recorded history. Ouch.
But here’s where things get interesting. Jemele Hill, the former ESPN teleprompter-reader-turned-Twitter-troll, decided to accuse Nikki Haley of racism for simply stating the obvious truth that Harris is a train wreck. Thompson sees this as typical behavior from Hill, who sees everything through a racist lens. According to Thompson, Hill believes you can’t be critical of a black woman, no matter how incompetent. But Thompson begs to differ and throws in a sarcastic “Uh oh… Racist!” just to get under her skin.
Overall, Thompson’s analysis of this Twitter feud is spot on. Kamala Harris is clearly unfit for the job she has (and probably got through questionable means), and Jemele Hill’s race-baiting antics are tired and predictable. And let’s not forget, Thompson is not afraid to criticize a black woman despite the inevitable accusations of racism. Bravo, Thompson, bravo.
