In a stunning turn of events, Congressman Jim Jordan from the great state of Ohio has declared that he is still running for Speaker of the House. Despite some recent speculation that he may be backing out of the race, Jordan made it clear to reporters that he is in it to win it.
In a press conference, Jordan stated, “I plan to go to the floor and get the votes and win this race.” You have to admire his determination. He’s not one to shy away from a challenge, that’s for sure.
Now, some people were under the impression that Jordan was supporting a measure to have Representative Patrick McHenry fill the role of Speaker Pro Tempore for an extended period. But let me tell you, that’s just not the case. Jordan made it abundantly clear that he believes the American people need a strong conservative leader like himself to serve as Speaker.

I couldn’t agree more with Congressman Ronny Jackson from Texas, who recently tweeted his support for Jordan, saying, “Now more than ever, we need a CONSERVATIVE FIGHTER to serve as our Speaker.” It’s refreshing to see Republicans rallying behind a true conservative who will fight for our values.
There were reports that Jordan’s support for McHenry’s expanded powers hit a roadblock, with Congressman Matt Gaetz stating, “I’m voting for Jim Jordan… I think we need to elect a speaker.” Gaetz, like many of us, understands the importance of electing a speaker who will represent our party’s principles.
In a brilliant strategic move, Jordan is allegedly having former Speaker Kevin McCarthy nominate him from the floor. Talk about a power play! It’s clear that Jordan is making all the right moves to secure the support he needs to become the next Speaker.
I have to agree with McCarthy when he said, “The whole country I think would scream at Matt Gaetz right now.” It’s clear that Gaetz is out of touch with the needs of our party and our nation. We need leaders like Jordan who will bring unity and strength to the House of Representatives.
So, let’s join together and support Jim Jordan for Speaker of the House. He has the passion, the determination, and the conservative values that our party and our nation need. It’s time to end the gridlock and give the American people the leadership they deserve.
