In a surprising turn of events, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy has announced the start of impeachment proceedings against President Joe Biden. The news has sparked a range of reactions, but none quite as baffling as that of John Fetterman. When Fetterman was informed about McCarthy’s decision, his response was incredibly sarcastic and over-the-top. The video capturing his flailing antics is truly bewildering.
McCarthy wasted no time in making this announcement, calling a sudden press conference on Tuesday morning. In a short video clip posted on social media, he stated, “I am directing our House committees to open a formal impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden. Over the past several months, House Republicans have uncovered serious and credible allegations into President Biden’s conduct—a culture of corruption.”

According to McCarthy, evidence has been found indicating that President Biden lied to the American people about his knowledge of his family’s foreign business dealings. Over 170 bank records have linked Hunter Biden and his business partner to Ukrainian energy company Burisma, venture capital firms associated with the Chinese communist government, and Russian oligarchs. It is alleged that millions of dollars were directed to the Biden family through various shell companies.
This investigation has been led by House Oversight Chair James Comer and House Judiciary Chair Jim Jordan. McCarthy also pointed out that a trusted FBI informant has alleged a bribe to the Biden family. It is claimed that President Biden used his position in the Office of the Vice Presidency to coordinate media responses with Hunter’s business partners. Additionally, there are accusations that President Biden pressured Ukrainian officials to fire a prosecutor who was investigating his son’s business practices.
It is worth noting that Hunter Biden is currently in negotiation with federal prosecutors over charges that he lied about his income during these business deals. President Biden, on the other hand, has repeatedly denied any knowledge or involvement in his family’s business activities. However, a majority of Americans believe that he had some level of awareness and participation in these affairs.
