It seems like even liberal elites are waking up. In a stunning twist, John Kerry, the climate zealot and failed presidential hopeful, has sung praises for President Trump’s stance on the southern border. For years, conservatives have been shouting the truth: borders matter. It’s about time someone from the other side acknowledged the obvious. Borders define a nation, and the chaos we’ve seen at our southern border was a disaster waiting to happen, all thanks to the open-door policies of Democratic leaders.

Kerry, who once rubbed elbows with Obama and ran in the Democratic elite circles, is now confessing what we’ve all known: the southern border is vital. He admits the Democrats allowed our border to be overrun, while they sat back and watched. It’s amusing to hear someone who once had Biden’s ear finally admit what many Americans have felt every day since Biden took office. When will the left stop ignoring the glaring problems in their policies, or is that too much to ask?
While Biden’s team was busy trying to push through a reckless immigration bill, Trump’s hardline stance was actually working. Under President Trump, illegal crossings were drastically down. When Biden took charge, the border became a sieve. The numbers don’t lie. Biden’s so-called immigration ‘strategy’ has shown to be a failure, leaving our nation vulnerable and our resources stretched thin.
Meanwhile, how typical of the left to turn a blind eye to common sense. When Kerry mentions Dems should have been right on immigration, it’s a stark reminder that they knew their policies were failing. But globalist dreams of borderless societies often overshadow the reality: Americans want security and control over who enters their country.
So what’s next for Biden and the Democrats? Will they admit their errors and back policies that actually work? Or will they keep ignoring the mess they’ve created at the border? The American people deserve better. Our nation deserves leaders who put America first. And it seems, at least for a moment, the truth couldn’t be clearer—even to a seasoned liberal like John Kerry.
