The announcement that Vice President Kamala Harris has selected Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as her running mate for November’s presidential election might raise a few eyebrows among politically aware Americans, particularly those leaning right. Walz’s checkered history is enough to make one question the wisdom of this progressive partnership. He isn’t just another run-of-the-mill Democrat; he comes equipped with a 1995 drunk driving arrest that has left many scratching their heads and raising eyebrows.
In the golden days of ’95, while Walz was allegedly shaping young minds as a teacher and coaching future NFL stars, he decided to take a detour through the fast lane at 96 mph in a 55 mph zone. This wasn’t a harmless joyride; it was a full-throttle speed fest complete with the aroma of alcohol trailing behind him like a bad decision. The state trooper on the scene probably got a whiff of Walz’s choices long before he ever had a chance to check his ID.
