Doug Emhoff, the not-so-dashing husband of Harris, has reportedly been prowling around a lavish condo that would cost the couple a whopping $20,000 a month. With an entourage of SUVs and Secret Service agents in tow, Emhoff took a stroll through the upscale Park Loggia luxury condo building located on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. The place is decked out with all the luxurious bells and whistles one would expect from a space that would rent for more than most people’s mortgage. Think oak floors, Brazilian countertops, and all the airy vibes that scream “I’ve arrived!”

According to insiders, while they plan to maintain their Californian roots, Harris and Emhoff are itching to embrace the glitzy New York lifestyle. Of course, having Emhoff’s daughter, the trendy artist Ella Rose, living in Bushwick, Brooklyn, probably sweetens the deal for them. Nothing like having family close by while you’re busy pretending to be relevant in the big city.
