Kamala Harris Tosses English in the Blender on Live TV

Once upon a time (or as the Democrats like to say, “in the most election of our lifetime”), Vice President Kamala Harris went on TV and delivered 45 seconds of pure word salad. This wasn’t the kind of word salad you’d find in a fancy restaurant, oh no. This was the kind of word salad that makes you wonder if they accidentally spilled alphabet soup all over the prompter.

In her interview on MSNBC’s “The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell,” Harris managed to butcher the English language in a way that would make even the most optimistic grammar enthusiast cringe. She boldly proclaimed that the upcoming 2024 election is “the most election.” Yes, you read that correctly. She didn’t actually specify what she meant by the “most election,” leaving sensible Americans scratching their heads and reaching for a grammar handbook.

If that wasn’t bad enough, she continued to ramble on about people attempting to divide the country in a “crude, frankly, and profound way,” and then took a sad swing at parodying President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s historic “four freedoms” speech. Unfortunately for Harris, her version sounded more like a parody of a parody, complete with wild hand gestures and enough nonsensical words to fill a dictionary of gibberish.

Unsurprisingly, social media erupted with mockery and disbelief at Harris’s linguistic acrobatics, with one user lamenting, “As a woman, I am mortified that Kamala Harris is the first female VP. She is an utter embarrassment.” Another user succinctly summed it up with a single word: “Terrible! Embarrassing!”
