After a dismal defeat in the 2024 election, Kamala Harris decided to take a six-day sabbatical in Hawaii, retreating to a luxurious seven-million-dollar mansion to contemplate her political future, or perhaps catch a few rays. One might expect a public servant, especially one about to exit the vice presidency, to spend their last remaining days in D.C. making a splash to counterbalance their failures. Instead, Harris seems to have chosen the path of self-indulgence, possibly while drafting her next big book deal or musing about a future gubernatorial run in California. Such aspirations have never been hampered by a connection to the real world.
Upon her return on January 6 to indulge in the ceremonial occasion of certifying the 2024 election, which also coincidentally marked her own defeat, Harris had the chance to project an air of dignity and honor. However, she treated her role as if she were going through the motions—clearly bored and disengaged. Despite some observers praising her for maintaining decorum during such a challenging moment, a conservative lens on Harris’ career reveals a persistent pattern of performing just enough to get by, lacking genuine commitment or enthusiasm in any of her responsibilities.
Kamala Harris just released this fluff piece about herself to try and satiate her massively unfounded narcissism.
Let’s be clear, the woman is a bombastic moron and the worst VP in US history.
She had an historic low 28% approval.
Good riddance to her.pic.twitter.com/XddWMtZac2

The contrast on display during the certification ceremony was stark. While House Speaker Mike Johnson exuded warmth and pride, Harris appeared unenthused. Despite the well-coiffed hair and stylish outfit, even the best fashion statement can’t mask a lack of genuine interest. The solemnity of democratic traditions was diminished in her unenthusiastic aura. For someone in such a high-ranking position, it was an embarrassing display of apathy.
After the certification, Harris hastily exited the venue, making a beeline for the nearest exit as if escaping the scene of a crime. When approached by journalists, her forced attempt at a thoughtful reflection came off as scripted and lacking sincerity. Her monologue, laden with buzzwords about democracy and constitutional duty, left many shaking their heads. The multitude of “And today” phrases seemed less like a reflection of earnestness and more like a sign she has been practicing her lines in front of a mirror. One cannot help but wonder if she even grasps the principles underpinning the Republic, given her infamous blunder with the Pledge of Allegiance.
With four decades in public life, one might reasonably expect Harris to demonstrate some degree of political finesse and personal charm. However, her performance leaves much to be desired, leading many to question how someone with such a long career could produce such uninspired results. Perhaps she made a cameo appearance at Jimmy Carter’s funeral, smiling for selfies with high-profile counterparts, only to exit the stage unseen, exemplifying the disconnect between her image and the duties she has failed to fulfill.
