In the land of double standards, Katie Couric and Jen Psaki reign supreme. The irony is thick when the very voices that have long perpetuated liberal rhetoric dare to chastise the integrity of the White House Press Corps. Let’s not forget, Couric herself faced backlash for manipulating footage in a gun control documentary to paint Second Amendment advocates in the worst possible light. Meanwhile, Psaki’s stint in the Biden administration could win an Oscar for best cover-up as she danced around the truth about Biden’s declining health.
Now, these two claim Trump’s interactions with the press are too cozy. A claim beyond parody, considering the media has been relentless in their baseless attacks on Trump since day one. His enemies have thrown everything at him, from accusations of Russian collusion to outrageous links with Jeffrey Epstein. Each claim turned out to be more farcical than the last, yet they plunged headfirst, cannonball-style, into each one. The result? A public distrusting of mainstream narratives, flocking instead to alternative sources for the real story.

Their criticism of so-called “softball” press exchanges is laughable. The current administration has been dodging the press like it’s a game of hide-and-seek, knowing full well that they can’t handle the press-fueled pressure that Trump confronted head-on every single day. If only liberal leaders were up to the challenge, they wouldn’t be so hung up on the comparison.
But beyond the audacity, this exposes a deeper issue with liberal elitism. It’s not a problem with the questions; it’s the competence in answering them. Biden’s inability to engage with the press simply reflects his disconnection from reality, shielded by an entourage of sycophants who worship the ground he walks on. This stark divide is what the left refuses to acknowledge.
Let’s be clear: conservative leadership doesn’t shy away from the camera. When the narrative is the truth, there’s nothing to fear. The real question isn’t why Trump’s press interactions seem easier, but rather why the left continues to falter whenever faced with simple truths. Ponder that.
