Late August brought with it the chaos and destruction of the Kenosha riots, a moment that would forever mark our nation. What once was a peaceful, hardworking town suddenly found itself thrust into the spotlight, all because of the actions of a Kenosha police officer who had no choice but to use justified force against an armed black man.
But, as we all know, in this post-George Floyd era, logic and reason seem to have taken a permanent vacation. The radical left wasted no time in proclaiming Kenosha guilty of racism, demanding the town pay for the actions of its police force. And pay it did, as the flames engulfed the streets for days.
Let’s not forget that Kenosha, with its modest population of around 100,000, was ill-equipped to handle the swarm of out-of-control rioters flooding in from places like Milwaukee and Chicago. It’s no wonder that law-abiding citizens took it upon themselves to protect their town from the chaos unleashed by the Black Lives Matter movement. This is precisely why the courageous Kyle Rittenhouse found himself in the midst of the mayhem.
Yet, even now, three years later, liberals can’t resist spreading their web of lies about that fateful night in Kenosha. Their latest fabrication was highlighted in a post on the notoriously biased and censorious platform, X (better known as Twitter). They dare to call the riots a “protest” and bemoan the fact that Rittenhouse took necessary action, defending himself against Joseph Rosenbaum and Anthony Huber, while injuring another man. They conveniently ignore the fact that Rittenhouse was ultimately proven innocent in the court of law.
It’s disheartening to see just how far we’ve fallen as a nation. The media now demonizes law-abiding citizens who dare to challenge the twisted narrative while elevating criminals to hero status. Take, for instance, Everytown for Gun Safety, a group that had the audacity to paint Jacob Blake as a victim, conveniently overlooking the fact that he was in the process of kidnapping innocent children.
It’s not surprising that gun control groups, like Everytown for Gun Safety, have a bone to pick with Rittenhouse and his supporters. They fear an armed citizenry ready to defend themselves against violent mobs. They’d rather see you disarmed and defenseless when the chaos arrives at your doorstep. The safety and well-being of American citizens simply don’t matter to them.
We must stand strong in the face of these malicious attacks on our rights and values. We must defend the heroes who rise to protect their communities when the government fails to do so. Kyle Rittenhouse is a symbol of that spirit, and no amount of liberal lies can erase that truth.
