It is absolutely mind-boggling how little the Biden administration values the safety and well-being of our brave men and women in the military. From Afghanistan to Iraq, they have shown a shocking disregard for the lives of those serving our country. It is truly disgraceful.
Just last week, Pentagon spokesperson Brig. Gen. Patrick Ryder stumbled through a response when asked about the missing Navy SEALs in the Gulf of Aden. He seemed completely clueless and lacked any coherent answer. And don’t even get me started on NSC spokesperson John Kirby, who blatantly ignored the question altogether. It took them a whopping ten days to finally declare the missing SEALs dead. Ten days of uncertainty and anguish for their families. This is unacceptable.

Part of the problem lies in the Biden administration’s weak approach to dealing with the Houthis and other Iranian proxies. They removed the Houthis from the terrorist list and embraced Iran, giving them free rein to do as they pleased. It’s no wonder they feel invincible. And let’s not forget the toothless sanctions and carveouts that the Biden team has provided, giving Iran a way to bypass the sanctions. This level of incompetence is truly astounding.
But it doesn’t stop there. Just recently, Iranian proxies attacked the Al-Asad Air Base in Iraq, injuring multiple American troops. Initially, it was reported that two members of our military were injured, but the information soon became vague and evasive. CENTCOM later stated that a “number” of Americans were being evaluated for traumatic brain injuries. And how did Kirby respond to this? Disgustingly, he downplayed the incident, calling it a “very small number” of troops affected. He even had the audacity to brush off traumatic brain injuries as if they were minor inconveniences. This level of callousness is utterly sickening.
When asked how they plan to put an end to these attacks, Kirby’s response was laughable. He simply said that “these attacks have to stop” and that they are taking actions to defend ourselves. Well, it’s quite clear that what they’ve been doing so far hasn’t been working. Even Biden himself admitted that their approach is failing. So when will they step up and hold Iran accountable? When will they take real action to protect our troops?
It’s infuriating to see these attacks continue and even escalate while the Biden administration stands idly by. Our troops deserve better than this. They deserve leaders who will fight tooth and nail to protect them and ensure their safety. The lack of action and disregard for their well-being is a slap in the face to every member of the military.
It’s time for the Biden administration to wake up and take real, decisive action. Our troops are not expendable pawns in a political game. They are the heroes who sacrifice everything to defend our freedom, and it’s about time we start treating them with the respect and care they deserve.
