On Monday, activist Riley Gaines and Paula Scanlan were confronted by a group of left-wing protestors who were out of control and couldn't handle the truth about how to protect the integrity of women's sports. Their actions included harassment and violence.
In June, Greg Abbott, the Republican governor of Texas, signed a bill into law that sought to protect women's sports. At a ceremony to celebrate the bill's passage, prominent athletes such as Scanlan, Gaines, and others were met with an aggressive crowd of protesters.
Fox News reported that Macy Petty, a volleyball player for the Young Women for America organization, said that she and other members of the group were trapped inside the venue due to the actions of the left-wing protesters.
According to Michelle Evans, a leader of the Independent Women's Network, she was assaulted and attacked by radicals while she was leaving the building. She said that they physically blocked her from returning, threw water at her, and even spat in her eye. A woman who was wearing sunglasses and a pink ski mask targeted her directly.
The protesters then proceeded to target innocent individuals, including children. Their behavior was appalling, and it shows how low these extremists are.

In response to the protesters' actions, Riley Gaines stated that they were trying to ruin the event celebrating Abbott's signing of SB 15. She claimed that they threw bottles and spit on people's faces.
Abbott supported Scanlan and Gaines, and he noted that he wished the protestors would have behaved peacefully instead of harassing them. Although he agreed that it was a shame that the women had to go through this, he vowed to make sure that such an incident would never happen again.
The incident highlighted the vicious and intolerant nature of the left-wing protestors. Although they claim to be committed to fostering inclusivity and diversity, they also use violence and intimidation when it comes to defending conservative values and protecting women's sports. It's clear that they don't care about civil discourse or dissent. They will do anything to silence those who disagree with them.
