Donald Trump is facing even more legal troubles, as Special Counsel Jack Smith is investigating him not just for his alleged mishandling of classified documents, but also for his alleged role in the January 6th riot. According to RedState, former Attorney General William Barr has predicted that Trump will face charges in relation to the Capitol riot.
Despite a lack of evidence linking him to the riots, the Democrats have been trying to pin the blame on Trump. They even launched a second impeachment attempt, which failed because the Senate did not convict him.

Barr, a defender of Trump, acknowledged that the J6 case would be difficult to make because of First Amendment interests. However, he now believes it is likely that charges will be brought this summer.
Smith has already filed a 37-count indictment against Trump for Willful Retention of National Defense Information. The indictment contains several federal charges, and if convicted, Trump could face over 70 years in prison. This indictment dropped right after the FBI turned over a report alleging Joe Biden’s involvement in a bribery scheme with Burisma Holdings, where he was allegedly paid $5 million.
Although FBI officials have already said that they have no evidence linking Trump to the riots, Smith is still pursuing the case. Liberals may focus on the phrase “so far” to suggest that there is more to come, but as we saw in the Durham Report on the Russian collusion hoax, the FBI has a history of doctoring or suppressing evidence to bolster their investigative efforts.
Ultimately, if the anti-Trump lawyers could concoct a fantasy to indict Trump on the Stormy Daniels hush-money scheme, they can get him on anything. The political left needs to stop their vendetta against Trump and focus on what really matters: upholding justice and protecting American values.
