Liberal AG’s Arrest Exposes Elite Attitude in Government Misconduct

A Rhode Island Assistant Attorney General just showed America exactly what’s wrong with our government. Devon Flanagan was caught on police body cameras having a complete meltdown during her arrest at a Newport restaurant. This is the kind of entitled behavior we get from liberal lawyers who think they’re above the law.

Flanagan refused to leave the restaurant and had to be dragged out in handcuffs. The whole ugly scene was captured on video for the world to see. She fought with police officers who were just trying to do their jobs.

The worst part was watching this government lawyer lie about police procedures. Flanagan demanded that officers turn off their body cameras, claiming it was required protocol if a citizen requested it. She kept repeating this false claim even when officers told her she was wrong.

This woman actually thought her job title would get her special treatment. She kept telling officers “I’m an AG” like that should matter during an arrest. The cops didn’t care about her fancy government position and treated her like any other criminal.

Her friend Veronica Hannon made things even worse by resisting arrest. Now both women face criminal charges for their bad behavior. Hannon is dealing with resisting arrest charges while Flanagan faces trespassing.

The Rhode Island Attorney General’s office finally did the right thing by putting Flanagan on unpaid leave. Her suspension starts Monday and she deserves every bit of punishment coming her way. Taxpayers shouldn’t pay the salary of someone who acts like this.

This incident perfectly shows why Americans don’t trust government officials anymore. These people think they can break the rules and get away with it because of their positions. We need leaders who follow the law, not ones who think they’re special.

Every government employee should watch this video and learn a lesson. Nobody is above the law in America, no matter what fancy title they have. When you break the law, you face the same consequences as everyone else.
