The radical left is showing its true colors again. When President Trump announced that legendary singer Gloria Gaynor would receive a Kennedy Center Honor, the liberal media machine went into overdrive. Instead of celebrating a talented Black woman who gave us the anthem “I Will Survive,” they attacked her for daring to accept an award from our president.
Ana Navarro from The View led the charge, begging Gaynor to reject the honor. This is the same woman who claims to champion women and minorities. But apparently that only applies when those women bow down to the liberal agenda and hate Trump like she does.
The attacks got even worse when some leftist pundits suggested Gaynor was just a diversity hire. Think about that for a second. A woman who created one of the most iconic songs in American history is being dismissed as unworthy by these elitist snobs. The same people who lecture us about racism are now questioning whether a Black woman deserves recognition for her incredible talent.
Gloria Gaynor has been making music for over fifty years. Her song “I Will Survive” became a worldwide hit that still plays at weddings, parties, and sporting events today. She has sold millions of records and inspired countless people with her powerful voice and uplifting message.
But none of that matters to the woke mob because she committed the ultimate sin. She accepted an honor from President Trump instead of throwing a tantrum like Hollywood celebrities usually do. The left demands total compliance from every Black artist, and they get furious when someone steps off their plantation.
This is exactly why Americans voted for Trump again. We are sick of the media elites telling us what to think and who deserves our respect. We can recognize talent and achievement without checking someone’s political views first.
President Trump made an excellent choice honoring Gloria Gaynor alongside other American legends like George Strait and Sylvester Stallone. These are real artists who created things that actually matter to regular people, not the pretentious garbage Hollywood usually celebrates.
The left’s attack on Gloria Gaynor shows their true face. They do not care about women, minorities, or artists. They only care about power and control, and they will destroy anyone who refuses to hate Trump on command.
