Liberals have devised a troubling new tactic to facilitate the illegal crossing of individuals across the US-Mexico border – and the method is truly outrageous! According to a statement from a US Customs and Border Protection official, seemingly legitimate travel agencies in Senegal are orchestrating comprehensive packages to transport migrants to the border. It's astonishing! These dubious operations are based in Dakar, Senegal's capital, where they persuade vulnerable individuals that they can embark on a visa-free journey to Europe and subsequently Mexico. Once there, they are connected to smuggling organizations to aid their unlawful entry into the United States.
These so-called travel agencies are essentially acting as intermediaries for smuggling organizations, ensnaring individuals in a web of deceit and exploitation. To make matters worse, these smuggling networks have established an extensive bus service in the northwestern Mexican state of Sonora, dispatching dozens of buses daily to various points along the US-Mexico border. It's sheer madness! The official also disclosed a threefold increase in the number of migrants from Asia and Africa crossing the southern border since last year, underscoring the magnitude of this crisis—a crisis fueled by the Biden administration's lax open-border policies.

Acting CBP Commissioner Troy Miller aptly highlighted the risks these smuggling organizations expose migrants to. They place people in remote and perilous locations along the border, atop trains, and even in the treacherous waters of the Rio Grande. This only serves as additional proof that the Biden administration's feeble immigration policies are detrimental to both American citizens and the migrants themselves. It's a lose-lose situation.
Representative Laurel Lee (R-Fla.) strongly criticized the Biden administration, accusing them of turning Border Patrol agents into "travel agents" instead of allowing them to enforce immigration laws. She is absolutely correct – our Border Patrol agents need support and empowerment to protect our borders, not to be compelled to facilitate the illegal entry of migrants.
The head of the CBP emphasized that the escalating encounter levels across the southwest border pose a "serious challenge" to the agency, and it's evident why. The surge in migrants is overwhelming border security resources, jeopardizing the safety and security of both migrants and the American people.
This border crisis demands urgent attention. The Biden administration must wake up and take decisive action to secure our borders, putting an end to these reprehensible smuggling operations. It's time to prioritize the safety and security of our nation by enforcing immigration laws and staunchly opposing these deplorable practices.
