The liberal media has reached a new low with their latest attack on Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. The Daily Beast published a disgusting hit piece claiming DeSantis is “killing” and “slaughtering” military veterans. This is fake news at its worst.
What the lying media won’t tell you is the whole truth. These so-called “victims” were convicted murderers, rapists, and serial killers who committed horrific crimes. They went through years of legal appeals and were found guilty by juries of their peers.
DeSantis is simply following the law and delivering justice for the real victims. Five dangerous criminals who happened to be veterans have been executed for their terrible crimes. The governor took an oath to protect innocent Floridians, not coddle cold-blooded killers.
The Daily Beast’s article was so ridiculous that even other news outlets called it “absolutely bonkers.” They used words like “slaughter” and “executioners” to describe lawful executions of convicted murderers. This is pure propaganda designed to attack a conservative governor.
Over 130 veterans signed a letter asking DeSantis to stop the executions. But millions of Americans support the death penalty for the worst criminals. Being a veteran doesn’t give anyone a free pass to murder innocent people.
DeSantis served our country honorably in the Navy and continues to serve Florida with integrity. He has made Florida the most veteran-friendly state while also keeping citizens safe from dangerous criminals. That’s real leadership.
The liberal media wants to protect murderers and attack law-abiding conservatives. They use emotional manipulation instead of facts because the truth doesn’t support their radical agenda. Americans see right through these dishonest tactics.
Florida will continue to enforce justice under DeSantis’ leadership. The families of murder victims deserve closure, not more delays and excuses. Sometimes justice means the ultimate punishment for the ultimate crime.
