Nearly three million Americans have lost their minds. They signed a petition asking Florida Governor Ron DeSantis to go easy on Harjinder Singh, an illegal immigrant truck driver who killed three innocent people. This is what happens when liberal feelings matter more than American lives.
On August 12th, Singh made an illegal U-turn on the busy Florida Turnpike. His massive semi-truck jackknifed and slammed into a minivan going 70 miles per hour. All three passengers died instantly while Singh walked away without a scratch.
Singh entered America illegally from Mexico in 2018. He somehow got a commercial drivers license in California even though Governor DeSantis says he could not speak English well enough to read road signs. How many more dangerous drivers are out there putting families at risk because liberal states hand out licenses like candy.
The day after killing three Americans, Singh ran like a coward to California. He thought he could hide from justice, but US Marshals tracked him down and dragged him back to Florida. A smart judge denied him bond because illegal aliens always try to escape back across the border.
Singh now faces three counts of vehicular homicide and three counts of manslaughter. He could get 45 years in prison if convicted, which is exactly what he deserves. Making an illegal U-turn with an 80,000 pound truck on a highway is basically attempted murder.
The real victims here are the three dead Americans and their grieving families. But liberals care more about protecting a criminal illegal alien than seeking justice for citizens. Where is the petition with millions of signatures demanding justice for the victims.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio stepped up like a true patriot and stopped all worker visas for foreign truck drivers. We need American drivers doing American jobs, not illegal aliens who cannot even read English road signs. Every visa we give to foreigners takes a job away from hardworking Americans.
This petition shows everything wrong with the radical left today. They always side with criminals over victims and illegal aliens over American citizens. Governor DeSantis must ignore this woke mob and let justice take its course for these three murdered Americans.
